Leader's Retreat on 31st May to 1st June at Changi Beach Club. The place is so ulu we had to walk quite a distance in. Dinner at Changi Village was good but I wouldn't say it was the best. Ran from the club to the beach and caught the sunrise with some other almost-late birds and the sight was so worth it.
Met Brenda for mentor-mentee time on the 11th and then met Kai and Zii for dinner. Ended up at Sunshine Plaza for dimsum at Victor's Kitchen. Oh and because my slipper broke when we were in the middle of nowhere and the aunty saw so she offered me rubber bands to tie my slippers to my foor. We then roamed around and went to Tom's Palette for ice cream.
Food at Victor's Kitchen is quite good but the prices aren't the friendliest. Love their Phoenix Porridge and Prawn Dumplings. Spent $11+/pax;
Prawn Dumpling $5.20
Siew Mai $4.80
Phoenix Claws $4.30
Liu Sha Bao $4.80
Steam Ribs Rice $4.80
Phoenix Porridge $4.80
Tom's Palette's Salted Caramel Cheesecake has always been my favourite and it haven't failed me yet. Tried the Parmesan Cheese & Cream Crackers this time and I loved it (but it can't top salted caramel cheesecake) Kai got Chocolate Sorbet and it was so goooooood. According to him and Zii, it tastes like some cake in NYDC. Plus point: We had 10% discount because Zii has his NP Student card yay us! ^^
